Warpstock Europe 2019

http://www.warpstock.eu/

The page says that currently a social even on Friday is not planned. I will arrive Friday afternoon and if anyone is interested, book a restaurant for a group. Visiting a few bars is also an option, first round is on me (Out of my own pocket, not Voice funds)

Let me know here, might take a while for me to react, don't check this site daily.

Hello Guzzi,

it would be nice to have a schedule in time as a basis for a decision whether to participate or not.

I doubt the schedule will be around soon. As usually with WSE all is at the last second.
I'm pretty sure some developers will be there as well as representatives from bww bitwise works GmbH and Arca Noae

Sylvan is right. There are several reasons for the schedule always being late. The event is basically organised by one man, Roderick, and he works a full time job as well.Je a+sp has health issues currently. Usually quite a few of the presentations are last-minute entries, this has to do with cancellations and others willing to fill up the gaps. It takes quite a bit of work to organise such an event. That being said, I will ask Roderick to provide a preliminary schedule ASAP. One thing is sure, at any WSE there are always interesting presentations and usually breaking news announcements, like a new browser being available right now. No, not this time, we still need more sponsoring and a few months of work om QT before browser development can start). Apart from announcements and presentations, WSE is an excellent opportunity to meet other members of the community Because it is an international event, there will be participants from the USA, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands and possibly other countries.

The provisional presentation schedule is online now.

Post by Roderick Klein:

Dear Warpstock Europe visitor,

I am sorry for sending this reminder email that late but I have been
having some health issue's. I am waiting for final confirmation from
more presentations to be given!

Location and travel details can be found on www.warpstock.eu.
The schedule can be found here:
http://www.warpstock.eu/2019/56-warpsto ... 9-schedule
(So this is not the final schedule!)

If you can make it to Warpstock please book your ticket via
www.os2voice.org/membership.html.
Access for 2 days costs 70 Euro. This includes lunch (warm buffet) with
drinks and coffee and tea during the conference.
We need to know if you are coming before the 9th of May so the hotel
knows how much food they need to buy!

As for mayor news on new web browser for OS/2/ArcaOS.
Visit https://articles.os2voice.org for the latest summary on the status
of the new web Chromium based browser for OS/2 and ArcaOS. We need your
donations! As the saying goes: "There is no such thing as a free lunch"
See the above URL for the donation options!
On the above URL you can find all information and with the URL how to
donate!

Best regards,

Roderick Klein

First, let me thank you Roderick and anyone else involved for organizing this event!
I am looking forward to next year! ;-)

Yesterday I was asked for a link to the website of File Commander:
http://silk.apana.org.au/fc.html

Personally I work with the development version 2.50 to be found in the link further down on that page:
