The USB Addon way didn't survive the 2nd boot, used a different entry point. With that it was possible make the OS2AHCI.ADD (community version), OS2APIC.PSD (ACP/WSeb) still be loaded in second boot (from C:\), It remains in the config.sys during 3rd, 4th reboot - so its final.
There is a part after the 3rd reboot (above), when the install looks like it hung up for about 2-3 minutes. Patience, this is the time if performs the Addons install. It goes to forth reboot and its setup is done.
Details on the actual solution:
- after I've crosschecked how UPDCD is doing its job, only one file need to be modified from the UPDCD framework, 10 lines added so far for the AHCI and ACPI support, its possible, that only 8 needed.
- The UPDCD framework created in a way, where MCP/ACP/WSeB/Warp4/Warp3 using the same, so it supposed to work with all of them

Issues:
- Fat32 and USB addons.cmd outdated, selecting any of them makes it hang on the third/forth reboot (and so on) - the config.sys for some reasons has big chunks of duplicated contents. Simplest way to replace them with a simple addon, to extract newest style usbdrv247.zip and run fat32.wpi installer
- while the SATA CD/DVD works during install, the installer can't find, or handle the SATA disk -> IDE only during install. If you change it after install is done, it works. Something around LVM, either the up2TB.FLT? Or it needs better ACPI support than OS2APIC.PSD

- has a prepared tools.zip for the addons\73_TOOLS? Supposed to contain multiple tools zip, arj, 7z etc. I'm having issues finding non-unixrooted binaries for grep, more, less, awk.
- has the IBM 1.3 JAVA, or knows where it should be possible to install?
- has a Golden Code 1.4.1 Java installer or share a link for it? Right now Innotek Java 1.4.2 installed, but it needs a separate Innotek Runtime too, plus the addons install not 100% good.
- knows how-to contact the original author of UPDCD in 2023?
